If you know how to bargain, then you are at the right place! In fact, most of the retailers in Koh Samui will offer you a great price if you bargain well.
The Chewang area has some of the best shopping in Koh Samui. Its entire beachfront area is packed with an endless variety of gift shops, fabric stores, and craft stalls. You will find some excellent deals on electronics too. If you check out the stores in Lamai, you will find items at a surprisingly cheaper price than at some of the other shopping markets. This is because the shopping arenas in Lamai are less crowded and less popular.
Even the shopping scene in the Nathon town is vibrant. You will come across a variety of stalls, silk shops and shoe stores here. Stop by and look for a fine silk scarf, shirt, or some other products while visiting Nathon.
Overall, the Koh Samui shopping scene is great and has lots of variety. Make sure you understand the conversion rates to ensure you get a great deal. Bargaining is a must!
